In our last General Membership Meeting, we covered our Little Britches,Timed Event and Judged Event Schedules. We also successfully finished all By law changes. All Schedules and the updated By laws will be posted on this web site, for everybody to download and review. Any further sub-pages such as Membership Points and Hours Worked will be added after the first Show. The By-laws, AQHA and 4-H Rules and Regulations will be posted after the next Board Meeting which is on March 7th, 2008.
Thank you for your Patience and be reminded that there will be a General Membership Meeting on March 14th, 2008 at the Lamar County Multipurpose Center in the Meeting room at 7p.m..

I think that we had great 1st show, and I hope the next show is just as great or even better than the 1st show. We are hoping to get better and better with each show. I really appreciate everyone’s help with the different jobs that they did for the club this weekend.
Please make sure that if you work your hours, you sign in and out on the hours book so you will be sure to get all your hours. We do not want to leave anyone out on their hours. All members have to have 6 work hours done by the end of the 3rd show and a total of 12 work hours for the complete show season.
Also don’t forget about your Ads. You have to sell at least a $50.00 Ad with your membership to qualify for Awards at the end of the show season. To find out about ads call Jami Jones at 601-582-9166 or 601-310-3698. Ads have to be turned in by the 1st of April.
If anyone can come up with a business that will donate anything that the club can raffle off, it would greatly help the club. Just anything that you might think that would make an object to be raffled off. We have done wind chimes,small buckets with brushes and combs, ect. .

News Flash for April 27, 2008

Do to new development on the account of our booked trainer for the April 27th, 2008 Timed Event clinic we are very sorry to announce that this clinic will be postponed due to personal reasons on our trainer at the clinic. We are very sorry about this inconvenience and hope that we are able to again provide our membership with this high class Timed Event Clinic.
We will keep you posted!

Newsflash for August Showdeo
|
We are doing another Showdeo like we did last year for the Lamar County Volunteer Fire Department. I'm asking for everyone who can come to help with this show it to please come; it would be greatly appreciated.
Last year the club made right at $800.00 clear profit on this showdeo and we are hoping that we make more this year.
So please let Debbie, Jami, or Gwen & Tanja know by calling or E-mailing us.
The Showdeo is Friday August 15, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Lamar County Fair Grounds. All workers need to be at the Arena between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm so we can get everything set up. We will have to set up the timers and the barrels, as well as set up for the goat tying.
